A big Thank You to all the beautiful people keeping a watch on the planet.
I was lucky to catch three of them in the plein air painting Swift Counters of Rainier.
You can see them in their lawn chairs at the end of the street.
They count the tens of thousands of Vaux Swifts that fly into a local chimney for some rest during their migration.
They do this count each night, for a few weeks during spring and fall, for the Audubon Society.
